I’ve worked in student services for nine years, supporting students in their learning needs and academic success. I began this journey working in the accessibility office at Brandon University in Manitoba, eventually moving east where I held the Student Success Coach position at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, NB. During this time, I have met with hundreds of students in, supporting them in their transition to university and academic skill development.
I find purpose and enjoy building meaningful relationships with the students I work with and I look forward to helping you excel in your university studies. I hold a MEd from Memorial University where I focused on the experiences of first-year students and diverse learners.
I am an award winning professional with an infectious enthusiasm who is committed to life long learning, skill development, and connecting with students on a personal level. It is my goal to provide a student-centered approach to learning, creating a space where guidance and empathy come together.
I live in Fredericton with my partner and enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, playing video and boardgames, and wandering this beautiful city’s walking trails.
